Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all subscription plans and services offered by Formobi Solutions Private Limitedthrough GetGenius. By purchasing a subscription or using our paid services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Subscription Plans

GetGenius offers the following types of plans:

  • Free Plan: No payment required. Limited features and usage quotas apply.
  • Paid Plans (Monthly): Billed monthly in advance. Auto-renews on your billing date.
  • Paid Plans (Annual): Billed annually in advance with a discounted rate. Auto-renews on your billing anniversary.
  • Enterprise Plans: Custom pricing and terms. Governed by your individual commercial agreement.

3. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for new users. During the trial, you can access paid features at no cost. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin, and you will be charged automatically. No charges are applied during the trial period, and no refund is necessary if you cancel during the trial.

4. Cancellation

  • You may cancel at any time. You can cancel your subscription from your account dashboard or by contacting us at care@getgeni.us.
  • Effect of cancellation. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until that date.
  • No partial-period refunds. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not receive a prorated refund for the remaining unused days of the billing period.
  • Data retention post-cancellation. After your subscription ends, your account will revert to the free plan. Your data (including trained Genius Associates) will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted unless you re-subscribe.

5. Refund Policy

  • General policy. All fees paid are generally non-refundable once the billing period has begun — this is because our service costs (AI processing, infrastructure) are incurred in real-time.
  • Case-by-case consideration. We understand that exceptional situations may arise. If you believe a charge was made in error, or if you experienced a significant service issue, you may request a review by contacting care@getgeni.us.
  • Eligible scenarios. We may consider refunds in the following situations:
    • Duplicate or erroneous charges
    • Service outage lasting more than 72 consecutive hours during your billing period
    • Account charged after a cancellation request was submitted and confirmed
  • Refund decisions. All refund requests are reviewed at our sole discretion. We aim to respond within 5–7 business days.
  • Annual plans. For annual subscriptions, refund requests within the first 14 days of the initial purchase may be considered. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us with the following information:

  • Your registered email address and organization name
  • The transaction ID or payment reference number
  • The date and amount of the charge
  • Reason for the refund request

7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.
  • Refunds via Razorpay typically take 5–10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • International transactions may take longer due to cross-border processing.

8. Downgrades

You may downgrade your subscription to a lower-tier plan at any time. The downgrade will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refunds or credits are provided for the difference between plan tiers.

9. Enterprise Agreements

If you are on an Enterprise plan with a custom commercial agreement, the refund and cancellation terms in your agreement take precedence over this policy. Please contact your account manager or sales@formobi.in for details.

10. Consumer Protection Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to override your statutory consumer protection rights under applicable law. If you are located in a jurisdiction where mandatory consumer protection or cooling-off laws apply (e.g., EU Consumer Rights Directive), those rights take precedence.
